Ciao ciao!
Today we
began our fantastic time in the small town of Lido de Jesolo, about an hour´s
drive from Venice.
We started
off the day with a couple of croissants and coffee before hitting the beach at
around 10 o´clock. It was truly a blessing, being able to sleep for an extra
few hours. It was a beautiful sunny day, after our personal black cloud stopped
following us around (FINALLY).
We played
volleyball and Frisbee on the hot sand before diving into the surprisingly warm
water to cool off. Everyone wandered
about the beach as they pleased, hiring paddle boats, sunbathing on the beach and
exploring the city. It was a great relaxing day, to chill from all the bus
travelling and tiredness. We´re sure everyone enjoyed it. J
Once the
hoarding of new clothes was over, we got back to the hotel just on time to dinner.
Our dinner was candlelit and accompanied with live music, and the seafood
dinner received mixed comments.
Overall,
today was a great day and we´re looking forward to Venice tomorrow!! J
