Day 10 - Paris, France/Geneva, Switzerland

Welcome to Switzerland!

Today was yet another day of long travels. We said our goodbyes to the city of lights and prepared for our departure to Geneva Switzerland! After 7 hours of sleeping, watching films, talking and the all too well known “selfies”, we finally arrived in Geneva! It is such a beautiful city, the stunning buildings and lively cultural life instantly greeting us as we strolled down the harbour.

Luckily for us, the weather was in our favour. After having experienced rain in every country we’ve visited so far, we managed to have a full two days of scorching sun which made the day even more exciting. We visited the city centre of Geneva and got 2.5 hours to look around, buy souvenirs, try some classic Swiss cuisine, or perhaps follow some of the Swiss fashion trends. We took lots of photos, capturing the short but delicate time we got to spend in this lively and rejuvenating city. We also got the opportunity to see a fountain which spits water 50 feet into the air!

Later we headed to our hotel and got dinner there. We got some more free time after dinner to hang out and chill for the night and get prepared for another big day of travelling tomorrow. Although we only got to spend a short amount of time in Geneva, I think I can say that Switzerland can be ticked off the list! Next stop: ITALY!!!
