DAY 11 - Geneva, Switzerland / Lido di Jesolo, Italy

Hello, everybody.

Today was a fantastic day. The day we entered the beautiful country of Italy. We started with a visit at the United Nations Office in Geneva. Pablo, our guide, showed us some of the most important conference rooms and explained us, what UN does and the history of the institution and the Palais de Nations.

It was a long day of driving and driving and driving but all the waiting was well worth it.  We drove down into Italy near the west side and drove across much of northern Italy until we arrived on a little village near Venice where we are staying.  The view was beautiful.  We then ate a classic Italian dinner.  Salad for the first dish.  Pasta (ravioli, penne) for the second dish.  Then potatoes and chicken for those whose stomachs weren't bursting.  For dessert we had some gelato.  We also met Raphael, who will be joining us for the rest of our trip.  (Not a student).  We went for a walk after dinner.  The hotel is about a 1 minute walk from the beach!  We are happy to be back in the country We did our exchanges in.  We are having a beach day tomorrow and doing laundry.  We are all very tired but always ready for this adventure.  I'm pumped to eat some spaghetti.  Friggin rights, dude.  Spaghetti.  I like spaghetti.  We like spaghetti.  And coffee.  GO ITALY!!  Bellissima! ❤️
